In the beginning, God created humanity male and female. He created them in His image and likeness. He blessed them and gave them authority to rule the earth together. However, man and woman disobeyed God and fell into sin aligning themselves with God’s enemy. God’s great good plan for humanity got turned upside down. Instead of man and woman being partners and together ruling under God’s authority, the consequence of their sin left them struggling for power, dominion and control. Sadly, it was directed towards each other. There was no more oneness. In the fulness of time, Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, came to redeem humanity back to God. His dead on the cross, eradicated the result of sin. Now through the blood of Jesus Christ, man and woman can come back into the peace, love, and oneness that God created for them to live in from the beginning.
